just returned from a vacation in beautiful Northern
California. Once again, we were reminded of the
awesome power of simply "taking a break" from life.
We were blessed to have several days for our vacation
yet also know that even taking an afternoon off

The Perfect Prescription
 I
am on the plane as I write this and can see the beautiful
snow-capped mountains of Lake Tahoe off in the distance.
My husband, Bill, and I are on our way back to Minneapolis
after a 10-day trip to Northern California where we
spent time hiking in the Redwoods, driving along the
coast, exploring the wine country, connecting with
loved family members, and just being. Ten days of
fantastic vacationing.
Before
boarding the plane home, I checked in with a few
family members from my cell phone at the airport
and each call eagerly began with, "So, what was
